About Me

Where it began

My journey in hair began in 2008 when a spur of the moment decision made me sign up to a 2 year college course. My passion for hair began here and I soon realised the art of hair only gets better with experience. I went from college as a qualified hair stylist back to being a junior assistant in the renowned hair salon, Jo Hansford in Mayfair. I had a further 2 years intensively training and learning while I worked, until I earned my position as a senior hair stylist.

Career

I have judged competitions, worked on a number of press launches and photo shoots including the Daily Mail and Daily Telegraph and I’ve styled the hair for a large L’Oreal advertising campaign. I have had the pleasure of styling the hair of many celebrities, for an array of red carpet events, resulting in excellent exposure of my work. Clients include Mollie King, Suki Waterhouse, Ellie Simmonds and many more. I have also been part of London fashion week, Bridal Fashion week and shows for the L’Oreal colour trophy. All of which has shaped me into the hairstylist I am today.

Where I am now

My career has taken me in many directions from being salon based, freelance and now the owner of the most amazing home Salon – I may be biased but it’s so true! There has been so many different directions to take in my career, each time I’ve pivoted in a new direction I have always continued to invest in education.

Whilst I learnt so much working in the salon, the hair industry is forever evolving so to keep up with trends and new techniques I’m continuously learning and choosing specific courses to upskill every year.
